I received my Bachelor of Arts from Alfred University in 2005 and I majored in Psychology. I received my Master of Science (2008) and Doctorate (2011) in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England. My American Psychological Association accredited pre-doctoral internship and two year post-doctoral fellowship were completed at The University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center. I have trained and practiced in different treatment settings including college counseling, community mental health, hospital inpatient, and private practice. I currently work full time in my private practice as a Clinical Psychologist licensed in New York State (License number: 019955).
I was trained as a generalist and can work with many different types of presenting concerns, though I have developed some focus in depression and social anxiety. I particularly enjoy helping clients explore their identities and using creative arts to facilitate the therapeutic process, as I also have a fine arts and music background. It is very important to me to respect and understand a client’s racial, cultural, religious, gender, and sexual identity. I work to tailor my approach to fit each client’s unique circumstances.
